LIABILITY

ICT Reykjavik ehf., trading as Spa of Iceland does not accept liability for any loss or damages caused by this website, or any website linked to this website. ICT Reykjavík ehf. reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order at any time without giving reason. We will make all reasonable effort to contact the customer using the details provided and all received monies will be refunded using the method received.

 Warranty

Spa of Iceland products are fully warranted against defects in materials. If a product fails due to a manufacturing defect, we will replace it or credit it at our discretion. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care or negligence.

 Payment Options

We accept all major credit and debit cards: Mastercard, Maestro, Visa, Visa Electron, Union Pay, JCB, Diners Club, Discover and AMEX. We also accept PayPal. All information is encrypted using SSL encryption (Secure Sockets Layer). SSL encrypts the information that you transmit to Spa of Iceland website servers which prevents unauthorized access to card details. Information you will be asked for when paying with a credit card are the card number, its period of validity and the CVC code. We do not store credit card information after the transaction has been carried out. Before we can dispatch your order, we may need to confirm your details with your card issuer. We will do our best to keep delays to a minimum.

 Order Processing

Internet orders are processed within 24 hours of receipt. Orders are processed and shipped on business days only. Weekends and major holidays are not included in the processing time. Please make sure that the shipping address is correct when you place your order. Once the order has been dispatched we are unable to redirect it. Shipping & processing fees include our service, processing, packaging and delivery costs. Spa of Iceland products are delivered from door to door by GLS and Íslandspóstur to all countries. Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to PO or APO/FPO boxes.

 SHIPPING RATES

Spa of Iceland will publish or display the current shipping rates on the websites as applicable. Shipping rates may vary or be waived as part of promotions or sales on the website and the part or fully discounted shipping may cease at any time at the discretion of Spa of Iceland. Spa of Iceland reserves the right to change any or all the following, at any time: -Shipping rates charged to any destination; -Delivery method; -Carrier or shipping provider.

 

Deliveries within Europe

Shipping delivery methods and prices are based on the total value of the customer's order and the delivery location. FREE delivery is for all orders total value €99 or more within Europe. For orders of €99 or less within Europe we offer a fixed rate of €15. Shipping is via GLS in Europe. In Europe delivery times are generally between 24 and 96 hours. GLS delivers Monday to Friday during normal business hours. Our prices do not cover any local customs or duty charges if you are living outside the EU. For special requests, including orders from outside Europe, please contact us at info@spaoficeland.is and we promise to get back to you within 24 hours. Please note, all our shipping prices are quoted and charged in EURO (€).

 

Deliveries within Iceland

FREE delivery is for all orders within Iceland. Shipping is via Íslandspóstur.

 

Return

If for any reason you are not satisfied with the items purchased, you can return your purchase within 14 days for a full refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded. This applies to the original shipping cost for your order as well as the return-shipping cost. All items must be returned unused. All unsealed products cannot be returned. All original packaging, price labels etc shall be returned with the product, without having been tampered with. All tags must still be attached to the item. Items purchased on sale (permanently marked down items) are not eligible for refunds; unless faulty, wrongly described or not of merchandisable quality. You will find the address for returns on the packing list. If you have not received one, please contact us. When we receive the package, we will refund the value of the goods returned. This only applies to web orders. After receiving your return, it generally takes between 5-10 days for you to receive your refund. We do not provide pre-paid shipping labels for general returns. If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact our Customer Service Department by e-mail at info@spaoficeland.is  . These conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

 Shopping at our site

Spa of Iceland reserves the right not to accept an order or cancel a purchase if there was an error in the price quote or if the product is not available, without being liable for any damage or costs. Spa of Iceland works to protect your personal information by using security standards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, whether that information is collected and/or stored online or offline. We make every reasonable and appropriate effort to safeguard such information from loss, theft, unauthorised access, disclosure, copying, use, modification, or destruction.

• When you make a purchase online, we will contact you by email to notify you of updates to your order.
• If you have signed up for our newsletters, we contact you to update you about exciting new product launches, updates, offers which are exclusive to our Contact List.   
We will also contact you about leaving reviews for products once you have received your order.

 

Icelandic law applies in all aspects to this agreement. Any dispute arising in connection with this agreement which cannot be resolved by negotiation between the parties shall be settled in accordance with Icelandic law and in Iceland by the district court of Reykjanes. In other respects, then the above, the terms of this provision apply to the existing laws on privacy and procession of personal data (nr. 77/2000), the provisions of the consumer contracts nr. 16/2016, the provisions of trade of goods nr. 50/2000 as applicable and the provisions of the consumer acquisition nr. 48/2003. All deadlines for which consumers are entitled to according to the consumer trade agreements will start to occur when a product has been received by the buyer.
